NFL.com’s Elliot Harrison has released his week one power rankings and has the Washington Redskins steady at number 10. One thing he said about the Redskins caught my eye:
I like the Redskins at No. 10 for these reasons: a) Robert Griffin III is going to be ready to go Monday night in Washington, but b) the Redskins still feel like a weak divisional winner at best, and c) then I don’t have to move them and screw these rankings up further.
I personally don’t think of the NFC East as ‘weak’.
Exit question: Is the NFC East a ‘weak’ division? I heard Redskins GM Bruce Allen say the NFC East could be compared to the SEC. What are your thoughts??
