RGIII Impressed By Aldrick Robinson at 2013 Training Camp

As a fan, I would like to see this young man’s awesome speed put to more use in the upcoming season – more than just running deep routes like he did last year. What about you?

RICHMOND — All eyes have been on Robert Griffin III this training camp as he works his way back from knee surgery. But asked which player has stood out the most to him through four practices, Griffin said wide receiver Aldrick Robinson.

After a season on the practice squad, Robinson made Washington’s 53-man roster last year, recording 11 catches for 237 yards and three touchdowns.  Robinson (a sixth-round pick in 2011 out of Southern Methodist) was used primarily as a spot-duty deep threat last season. This year, he aims to take the next step forward in his development, and become a regular contributor.
